  • Hey mamas, welcome back. This might be an episode that you wanna watch on YouTube because I'm be showing you some stuff. Today we are gonna talk about what my morning stack of supplements look like. So let's get into it. So first off in the morning, I always fill up my big water bottle. I think this is about 40 ounces, possibly slightly less, but not much more or less. So this is not in order per se.

Maybe it is. think I am a little bit more habit-y than I'd like to admit. But the first thing I'm using in there is the Elementi. Element, I don't know how people say it, but it's spelled Elementi. People say element. Electrolyte mix. So this has a thousand milligrams of sodium, 200 milligrams of potassium, and 60 milligrams of magnesium. Ready to go. Yes, if there's an artificial flavor to it. I like it. It kind of just helps get the water.

down first thing in the morning. The flavor that I kind of like best is the mango chili. Nobody else in my family likes it, which is great because that means they don't drink at all. However, it does have a slight spice to it. So it makes me feel like it's kind of a margarita ask without the actual margarita, which I really should not be drinking at this stage of my life. So first thing to go in the electrolyte packet. The next thing I'm putting in there,

is this colostrum. So I get core colostrum from Equip. I have a coupon code with these guys, so you can check the show notes for that. But it's 100 % pure grass-fed bovine colostrum. So if you remember feeding your babies, breastfeeding them, or like get the colostrum, that's the liquid gold is great for immune health and great for the gut barrier. Well, same, same. And what I like about this company in particular is that

The baby cows actually get their share of colostrum before they take it and then create a powder out of it and then market it. So the babies are still getting their liquid gold, but they're sharing some of it with us. So there you go. So colostrum is going in there. The next thing that is going in my water is this. there's lots of things in this actually. So this is from the Paws Nutrition.

    Tiffany Wickes (02:23.936)

It's skin and bone health. So it's got collagen in it. Let me just tell you exactly what's in it. So it's got collagen peptides. Verisol is their trademarked title. like which strains and everything. I don't really know. All I know is it works. Okay. So that's good enough for me. So fortobone, those are different types of collagen peptides.

So one is intended for your skin, hair, nails, and bone. It's got vitamin C in it because you do need vitamin C to help metabolize collagen in your body. And it also has hyaluronic acid. Why is that difficult to say with retainers in my mouth? So all of these stuff. So it's like non-acidic vitamin C and then the hyaluronic acid. I was skeptical. However, I thought, well, let's just give it a try. Why not?

absolutely have seen benefits in my skin, hair, and my nails. Like my hair is way softer, my skin is just radiating. And I think a lot of it has to do with this in addition to a solid skincare routine, great nutrition, this helps with hydration, red light therapy, and sauna. So yeah, there are other things that are helping to support that game, but I have absolutely seen, and even skin elasticity I think has been better.

with this product. in terms of bone health, haven't redone my DEXA scan to make sure that my bone health looks good, but I haven't changed anything in terms of what I do for my bone health except adding something that can make it better. So I can't imagine it'd be worse. However, there you go, the Paws Nutrition. I'll put everything in the show notes for you so you can shop it there, but I really have seen a benefit to using that product. So the next thing that goes in is creatine.

So I've used multiple types of creatine. So it's creatine monohydrate. I use 10 grams, which is two full scoops. I did a whole episode on creatine, multiple episodes actually on creatine. So go back and listen to those. But Faster Way has a great one. ProMix, I've used theirs. Theirs is great. And the company Thorne makes a great creatine also. And there's probably other companies, but those are just three that, well, I have to use two of them. However, I would use Thorne if I had bought it, but I just haven't bought it, however.

    Tiffany Wickes (04:47.138)

that is a great company. So almost anything they make, I would take. All right, the next thing that goes into my water is the RHO Rho NAD+. So this helps with your cellular metabolism. And I have 100 % felt a difference in my energy level while taking this. I don't skip this one. I started taking this after I did my entire gut healing protocol. they also make a glutathione.

which my glutathione levels were actually fantastic because I had supplemented with it for like two, was it two or three months prior? It was a lot of glutathione. So when I got my gut test done after I did all of the wellness supplementation for my immune health, my glutathione levels were fantastic. So in another like four or five months, I'll probably do a few rounds of glutathione and just kind of cycle that in and out. But anyway, long story short, this company makes a fantastic product. I did do a previous episode on NAD+.

Also, so feel free to listen to that one, but that goes in my water first thing in the morning as well. The next thing, this is kind of a new addition to my routine. But again, you guys, don't typically supplement with things that I haven't already tested for and know that I'm deficient in because I'm not a huge just take it just because kind of person. Like I want to test, I don't want to guess. And I don't want to take a supplement that you take simply because you take it.

without knowing that my body could actually use it. So this one is GABA plus L-theanine. GABA plus L-theanine. And with ongoing stress in the world plus like your own life, unfortunately is commonplace in our modern society. So this type of stress like can induce a profound shift in your nervous system.

So it skews your body towards a heightened sympathetic fight or flight response and then dampens the parasympathetic rest and digest response. Get a whole episode on that too. All right, so this liposomal GABA with L-theanine combines the highly bioavailable form of the neurotransmitter GABA, which by the way, my gut test said I had none of with the amino acid L-theanine. So it optimizes your nervous system support.

    Tiffany Wickes (07:09.858)

And it really has just helped me stay a little bit calmer. I'm kind of a high energy person anyway. And I think my stress response could get wildly upregulated when it didn't really need to. And I'm like, I don't know why I am like kind of spiraling right now. So, you know, I haven't noticed just a monumental shift yet, but also I think I've been taking it for like two or three weeks. I just do four pumps of it. So it doesn't technically go on.

but I put everything else in my water and then I put four pumps of this in my mouth and then take a swig of the water because it's not horrible tasting, but it's not super awesome either. So anyway, the GABA in here, which my gut showed that it had zero of, so that's the body's main inhibitory, like Calm and Connect neurotransmitter. So it's produced in the brain and the spinal cord and it supports an emotional balance and just a state of ease and like healthy stress response.

and it'll help stabilize the nerve transmission. So L-theanine, the amino acids found naturally in green tea and supports relaxation, focus and mood. I do drink green tea in the afternoon typically. I'll do matcha. So matcha is a form of green tea, but it's like the leaves that are actually like pulsed into a powder rather than just steeping the leaves. And if I drink too much matcha, it will hurt my stomach. Don't know why it just does. So I'll alternate, but typically,

I do get the extra L-theanine from that, but it's also coming in this form. So there you go. I, like I said, I haven't noticed a monumental shift. I can still get a little spun up over things that I should probably be a little bit more calm about, or just in general. Even if you're not like, I'm getting angry, your stress response can be triggered by all kinds of things. For me, if I walk into the kitchen and it's a mess and it previously wasn't,

Do know that feeling where it's like you just suddenly get hot and you're like And you're starting to breathe a little funny and you're like, my gosh Like that's how I feel when my stress response starts shifting over into the sympathetic I'm like, okay, and that's where a deep breathing comes in like I take a good deep breath in through my nose

    Tiffany Wickes (09:28.962)

and try to blow it out quickly like I'm blowing through a straw. Like, I just felt it when I did that. It's like this calming, like warm flooding sensation that starts at my neck and then goes down my shoulders and down the rest of my body. That's my nervous system, like coming down, like chill out because like legit the kids destroyed my kitchen today and I was like, my gosh. Anyway, the next and not last thing I take, but the next thing I take is by body health. I've also talked about these.

But this is the perfect amino. What I love about this is it is equivalent to like 29 grams of protein, but it doesn't have any macro value to it. So you can take this while you're fasting and it preserves your lean muscle tissue while you are in a state of fasting, while you're not eating anything. It's like your body is not going to consume your lean muscle tissue. It's going to use these amino acids for energy. So I have noticed

increased recovery track recovery time. I have definitely noticed that I can fast a little bit longer if I need to in the morning and I feel fine. Right. It just helps stabilize everything. So anyway, I take five of these and then so that's how I'm doing it. I'm all that stuff in my water. I'm doing a few pumps in my mouth of the GABA and L-theanine and then I'm taking five of these. I'm swigging my water.

while I'm sipping on some coffee, I usually go for a walk in the morning with the dog and the baby, babies like seven, 7.30 in the morning. And then I'll come back and have a protein shake. So there I will add like 50 grams of protein, 25 grams of carbs in some form. It's typically like half of a frozen banana. And then, I mean, I don't really focus on adding fat at that point, but you could like a teaspoon or two of almond butter.

almond milk, blend that up, drink that, and then I will go lift. Okay? After my lift, and this is, I don't know, around 8.15 or so in the morning, after my lift, I'll come back in and have a full breakfast. And then that's why I will take the other supplements, which was not about this episode, but I have a lot of targeted probiotic therapy based off of what my gut results said in a previous episode. talked at length about my...

    Tiffany Wickes (11:54.69)

gut microbiome testing revealed. I'll take that at that time. And then like just all my other supplements. So my Omega is my DHEA, the DHA and all the probiotics. And yeah, there you go. That is what my morning supplement stack looks like. All the links will be in the show notes for you. If you want to see it, check it out on YouTube. I show all the products and until next time, mama, stay strong.

Good to talk to you. If you love this episode, make sure you share it with a friend, rate, review, make sure it's positive. If it's not, just get a hold of me and tell me what you hated about it. Maybe I'll improve it. I don't know. Maybe I'll tell you to get lost. That's a possibility too. Love you, mean it, stay strong, mamas. Talk soon. Bye.
